Matheen (also known as M1 in the family) is the author of Protector of Pterygota, the first novel in Pterygota Chronicles, a trilogy. The author is based in one of the most splendid and livable places – where the author draws inspiration for continuous learning, writing and painting. Currently, the author is on a short hiatus in an attempt to retrieve the author’s sanity – editing and converting this book into an eBook took its toll and turned the author absolutely potty! Soon, the sounds of Mozart’s “Der Hölle Rache” would be playing again in the background as the author starts working on the second installment of the Pterygota Chronicles. The author admires the works of the great literary giants: JK Rowling, Margaret Atwood, Paolo Coelho, Fyodor Dostoevsky, George Orwell, Louisa May Alcott, Lee Harper and Charles Dickens.
