4.  "Boy, you need to experience suffering and sadness to live your life to its potential otherwise you might as well be six feet under."  - The Leader of the Sigbin Tribe addressing William

 

5.  “When one is consumed by so much hatred and greed, one’s heart must have died.” - King Linnaeus of Arthropoda Kingdom, when asked by William about The Purple Empress

 

6.  “Then, William it is! After all, what’s in a name, right? I say, it neither influences nor builds a character; it’s merely a personal brand.”  - King Linnaeus tells William

 

7.  "Hah! I hope that this will be a lesson to you! This is what happens to the boastful; they fall all the way down, flat on their faces! Worse, their ego's left bruised." -  The Leader warned William after his boastful antics (showing off his flying skills)

 

8.  "It was unfortunate that in Pterygota there were two halves – the other half lived an abundant life and the other half, a depleted life. That night, William learned that justice was a prized commodity."  - William discovers while flying over Lepidoptera

 

9.  "Non Desperaverit!  Non Desperaverit!"  - The Prisoners at the Pit chant  (it means Do Not Lose Hope!)

 

10.  "Don't fall prey to your own weakness, child. Don’t let vindictiveness be the cause of your downfall."  - The Leader of the Sigbin Tribe warns another child slave, Number 710

 

11.  "I have planned your death a million times. If I could, I would kill you a million different ways," The Purple Empress threatened the exiled Queen Nympha (William's mother)

 

12.  "Power is not handed on a silver platter; one must be the right fit for it."  - King Linnaeus reminds a stubborn William

 

13.  "We need to live so that we may live! It means taking risks with the choices we make." - King Linnaeus tells William

 

14.  "We make the right choices because we know what truly matters to us. However, we also make poor choices because we simply don't get things right all the time. Either way, we must learn to accept." - King Linnaeus advises William

 

15.  "Every man is the architect of his own destiny. This is your destiny presenting itself to you, William. Embrace and orchestrate it with all your heart."  - King Linnaeus tells William

 

16.  "Courage is a curious trait – it is a diverse chameleon that emboldens us to live life to the fullest. At some point in your life, you must learn to face and overcome your fears. However which way you can." - The Leader of the Sigbin Tribe addresses the three teenagers  before facing their challenges

 

17.  "You welcome such complexity because you find that with complexity, life becomes so much more colourful."  The Goddess Mar'LEENA tells William when they first met

 

18.  "Dude, I wasn't born with a conscience! Or if I had one, it's asleep now!"  -  Callippe tells William (Callippe is one of the teenagers that William competes with in the three challenges) 

 

19.  "Darn…. I wish that there was no right or wrong. Sometimes, I wish that you don't always have to do the right thing." - William contemplating on what to do in one of the challenges that he has to face

 

20.  "Bugger! I should have killed you while you were asleep. Then, take the Asherah Venti. Crikey….why didn't I think of that? I always have to do things, the hard way! But then, if I did that, it would not have been a fair fight, would it?"  - William tells a dead opponent

 

21.  "A mi fi tell yah, he once told me laughter is a sign dat yah soul is dancing to life. Mi granddaddie cautioned me not to trust anyone who daz not laugh; Naah meen?" - Baldassare, the legendary leader of the Flying Horses tells William

 

22.  "We shouldn't regret anything that belongs to the past – only the guilty ones dwell on regrets." - Noel (former child slave, Number 710) tells William when they meet up again

 

23.  "Who am I to turn my back and close my eyes to another being's suffering? If I did that, then, I’m just as monstrous as The Purple Empress."  - William tells himself on his way out of Kanata Kingdom

 

24.  "You are all foreigners in Lepidoptera! You do not belong in this soil! We are taking back what is rightfully ours – the whole of Lepidoptera.  Let our blood free Kanata and Lepidoptera!" - the battle cry of the fearless revolutionaries as they fight  the Insecta Army   

 

25.  "Let's just say that I love settling scores. It's what keeps my heart burning!" - The Purple Empress tells Queen Nympha (William's mother)

 

26.  "Nah, you deserve worse than that! We prefer danger with liberty to peace with slavery! Your rule will end in a few minutes."  - William taunts his nemesis, The Purple Empress during their fight

 

27.  "Hah! I'm at my element! I can keep doing this until hell freezes over! Get stuffed! Victory is mine!" - The Purple Empress mocks William

 

28.  "Oh dear, someone made a piss poor choice! You’re powerful, but you’re also a bloody barmpot! Toodle pip!" - The Purple Empress tells William

 

29.  "In life, we don't always win. William, you need to understand the underlying importance in learning the lessons behind your losses. It is how you deal with your losses. Losing does not define you as a person. It is how you get up after a fall that defines your character. Determination and perseverance are more potent than rejections and failures."  -  Goddess Mar'LEENA tells William

 

30.  "Power does not have the full capacity to influence the destiny of another being. It does not have control over mortality."  - Goddess Mar'LEENA advises William  

 

31.  "We all have expiration dates – the certainty of immortality should inspire us to live a meaningful life." - Goddess Mar'LEENA to William
