This book owes an exceptional debt of gratitude to my family. I would like to thank our mother, TM for giving us a meaningful life; for her encouragement and for having a generous heart.

Sincerest appreciation to our youngest sister, M3 and our Bro-in-Law for sharing your roof with us when we needed one and for having three adorable moppets, which inspired three of the book’s characters!

This book was inspired by the beauty and grace of my Motherland, Home and Butterflies. Motherland – its peoples’ resilience, determination and uncanny ability to smile through adversities are truly inspirational. Home – thanks for being a positive motivating force; thank you for a most fantabulous quality of living; thank you for teaching one the true definition of humility and for being an edifying backdrop for one’s creative pursuits. Butterflies – for reminding us that we must go through changes and learn to flutter our wings because Life is an exhilarant journey that allows us to turn our dreams into reality!
